Hot Air Balloon Flights
from Wells and Glastonbury, Somerset
Chris Monk Ballooning is a husband and wife balloon team with over 35 years of experience, a 100% safety record and a passion for ballooning.
We hold a UK CAA Balloon Operators Licence (DBO 507) and are members of the British Ballooning and Airship Club.
Our flights are exclusive in that we only fly 2 or 3 people in our basket and we tailor the experience around you. We take a small deposit to secure your flying slot and will only ask for full payment when we know the flight is 95% certain, around one or two days prior to the flight. If the weather is poor and we can’t fly we will work with you to find another opportunity to fly, or return the full payment to you.
We fly from exclusive launch sites near the Glastonbury Tor and near Wells Cathedral. The flight is roughly one hour and you should allow around 3 hours for the whole experience and we serve a celebratory glass of fizz on landing!
The cost for two people in our basket is £325 per passenger.
The cost for three people in our basket is £265 per passenger.
All that we will need from you is a confirmation of passenger names, approximate weights, contact number, and any preferred date(s) you would like to fly, plus a deposit of £50 to secure the slot.

Excellent comms as soon as we made contact with them along with great joining instructions for the morning. Seeing the Tor, the Levels, and beyond in the still air was amazing.
